A And J Behavioral Health Inc. was created to serve the families that need the most help! We understand that having a child with a developmental disability is a challenge and a blessing. We are here to help your child grow and prosper as you envision! We provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) based therapy for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and other similar developmental disabilities. We understand your struggles and that is why our programs are individualized to your family’s needs. We are here to help guide you every step of the way! Teaching you how to help your child in your home/community is our joy! A And J Behavioral Health Inc. also offers private classes for new parents on several topics that include, but are not limited to, sleep training, behavioral issues, toilet training, anxiety reduction for parents/caregivers, and teaching language acquisition in the natural environment.
We accept nearly all health insurance companies for payment serving the greater NJ area! Additionally, soon we will be serving children in the Committee for Preschool Education program (CPSE program, 3 to 5 year olds) and Committee for Special Education program (CSE program, 5 to 21 years olds). At A And J Behavioral Health Inc. we believe:

A And J Behavioral Health Inc. provides in home and in the community one-on-one therapeutic services by the most highly trained professionals based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB) with an emphasis on:

I don’t know what to say. The bcba and therapist taught my child how to maintain eye contact and respond to her name. I couldn’t be more thrilled. A and J recognized the issues and formulated a detailed plan to help. We have been with A and J for only a few months, but my daughter has made great progress! - My wife and I were going from pediatrician to neurologist to psychologist and we had no answers on how to help our youngest daughter. All Of the supposed doctors said “there is nothing wrong with her” but my wife and I knew better. Once we called A and J we realized they were pediatric child specialists that could help us. Pediatricians are only interested in passing you on to a neurologist who truly doesn’t know anything about mental health. They wanted to put our daughter on medication and we couldnt figure out why since she was not aggressive. We refused to put her on medication since she didn’t need it. The neurologist just said this medication will make her less anxious. I wasn’t sure she was anxious or just didn’t know how to behave or function in society. Since starting with A and J a couple of months ago we have seen a dramatic improvement. The Senior staff is helping educate and train us as well to help her on a daily basis.
